Overview
This version 2.11 comes with a set of capabilities as well as bug fixes. Below is a comprehensive list of such features added recently.
What's New
Training Analytics
Training Analytics now enables trainers to track the signoff reports and view the responses of trainees along with the status of the whole process. This feature provides a clear audit trail and accountability, facilitating better tracking of trainees’ progress.
Trainers can view and download signoff reports and trainee responses in PDF format, simplifying documentation and review processes.

Autosaving of Steps and Uploaded Media
Now, while creating 2D work instructions, the steps will be autosaved from moving one step to the next step or by pressing the “Finish” button. Now there is no need to press ‘Save Changes’ after each step. Once all the steps have been created, the user can save all steps by pressing the ‘Save Changes’ button just once.
Media upload will also be autosaved when the Trainer uploads a media file (image or video) even if he doesn’t press the save changes button.
This will enhance efficiency by eliminating the need for 'Save Changes' after each step, thereby reducing the manual effort required during the instruction creation process.

Cycle Time Visibility for Trainers
Trainers can now monitor the time taken to complete each step of a procedure by trainees, offering insights into performance and areas for improvement.
This will help trainers with valuable data on the time efficiency of trainees, facilitating targeted feedback and training.
Editable Safety Steps Text (PPE Title & Description)
Mentor Authors for organizations now have the flexibility to edit the text on safety steps within their work instructions, empowering them to customize content for their specific operational standards. There would be a default text under these two fields which an Author can edit as per their Org. Nomenclature.
This will offer operational personnel the ability to tailor safety messages and descriptions, ensuring relevancy and adherence to organizational safety protocols.
Support of Single part CAD models
Mentor has been enhanced to support Single Part CAD Models, ensuring compatibility and consistency across CDS Mentor's tools.
MOV filetype upload
Support for MOV file types has been added, expanding the range of video file formats that can be uploaded to CDS Mentor, particularly from Apple devices.
This update broadens the compatibility with various media formats, making the platform more accessible for users who utilize Apple devices for content creation.
