This feature allows you to configure recertification settings for instructions, ensuring that users review and renew their certifications at specified intervals.
2. Accessing the Recertification Feature
To access the Recertification feature, follow these steps:
Navigate to the main instruction list.
Click on the desired instruction to view its details.
Look for the more options "…" section under the procedure and click on the "Recertification Review" button.
3. Setting Up Recertification
a. Expiring Results
Once you've accessed the Recertification screen, toggle the "Automatically expire results for recertification" switch to enable the feature. This action will activate the following fields:
- Expire Results After: Enter a numerical value to determine when the certification results will expire.
- Expiry Unit: Choose from the dropdown menu - Days, Months, or Years.
b. Escalation Email
Specify the email address of the individual who should be notified in case a user misses the recertification. This person will receive escalation emails.
4. Saving and Discarding Settings
After configuring the recertification settings, you have two options:
- Save: Click this button to save the configured settings for the instruction. The recertification feature will be activated based on the provided parameters.
- Cancel: If you wish to discard the changes, click "Cancel." The settings will not be applied, and you will return to the instruction details page without saving.
5. Example Scenario
Let's consider an example: You have a critical instruction that requires recertification every six months. Set the "Expire Results After" to "6" and choose "Months" as the expiry unit. If a user misses the recertification, an escalation email will be sent to the designated escalation email address.
